Pharell Williams, Ariana Grande, Justin Timberlake And More To Perform At Charlottesville Concert

After a white protester agitation in Charlottesville, Virginia which later turned fatal in August, Dave Matthews Band have arranged a future benefit show for their hometown with DMB, Pharrell Williams, Ariana Grande, Justin Timberlake, Chris Stapleton, Brittany Howard (Alabama Shakes), The Roots, Cage the Elephant, and other notable guests artistes to perform.

“A Concert for Charlottesville” will kick off on September 24th at University of Virginia’s Scott Stadium. Entrance are free of charge to members of the Charlottesville and UVA communities online ( tickets can be requested by clicking this), and you can also make donations by clicking this.

On August 11th and 12th, agitators converged to condemn Confederated statues and the white dominant who support them. As they were parading, a vehicle drove in the crowd, to kill Heather Heyer and wounded not less than other 19 people.

“I will like people to know that Heather did not marched alone,” Heyer’s mother, Susan Bro, spoke at the VMAs 15 days after her daughter’s demise. “She was always with people from all races and background in the country.”

The money realised from the Charlottesville concert will be directed to victims of the attack and their families, 1st responders, and attached domestic and national peace organizations.
