A shooter got into a church in a small town, southeastern part of Texas on Sunday and started firing. This resulted in many fatalities and injuries, domestic media reported, quoting the county sheriff. At least 27 people have been confirmed dead as local officials stated.

“Police were at the place of the incident in Sutherland Springs, about forty miles (65 km) east of San Antonio,” the Wilson County Texas Sheriff’s Office informed Reuters. However, he didn’t give further information about the shooting.
Sheriff Joe Tackitt told the Wilson County News that there’ve been countless injuries and deaths at the First Baptist Church.
