Liverpool have turned down a 3rd bid from Barcelona for Philippe Coutinho.
The bid was quickly turned down by Liverpool, who stood their ground that Coutinho is not leaving the club this summer.
This latest offer was reported to worth a whooping £118 million (€129m) with £36.5 worth of add-ons. That goes with two earlier rejections from the Catalan part at values of £72m and £90m.
Information from sources close to Liverpool stated that what Barca is offering for Coutinho does not matter, they are standing on their ground not to sell the player at any price.
Coutinho handed in a transfer request previous week and hasn’t played in Liverpool’s first two games this season.
Before Brazilian’s bid, Liverpool’s owners, Fenway Sports Group, publicized a statement, “no offers for Coutinho will be accepted.”

Meanwhile, Barcelona’s director Robert Fernandez lately admitted the task in signing Coutinho and Borussia Dortmund’s Ousmane Dembele due to their clubs unwillingness to sell.
Coutinho signed a 5-year contract with Liverpool in January, which put him at the position of highest-paid player in the club.
Liverpool is making sure no clause for sale was considered as part of the new contract.
