Being inside your home is part of Amazon’s priority, not only dropping packages at yur doorstep.Amazon, on Friday, announced the deal of acquiring Blink (via Slashgear), a startup established in 2014 which develops connected Wi-Fi home security battery-powered cameras, also a new video doorbell brought forth early this week.
The company started through a crowdfunding campaign that raised more than $1 million for its absolutely wireless home monitoring system.
One camera costs $99 while three costs $299 on Amazon.
Amazon has already made a strike into connected home video system, even home entry items, with its Cloud Cam and Amazon Key provision for remotely allowing access to your home for delivery people dropping package off.
What Blink is contributing is professionalism in building connected, wireless home monitoring and security tech which also operates totally wire-free needing no complex installation and running on simple, with replaceable batteries.

Blink’s Doorbell, for example, operates on 2 AA batteries and could last for up to two years of normal usage on those.
