Aladdin Full Character Revealed – Disney Live-Action

A new ruler was found for Agrabah at Disney’s live-action recreation of Aladdin with Navid Negahban rounding out the character. It was recently publicized by Aladdin co-star Will Smith that shooting is formally on the way on Guy Ritchie’s live-action re-narration of the all- loving 1992 animation. While making the publication, Will Smith showed a cast picture of the center group of actors that will take part with him in this journey. Mena Massoud is ready to open the floor, while Naomi Scott will act Princess Jasmine and Marwan Kanzari will be Jafar. Smith, meanwhile, is taking on the heroic role of the Genie.

Although, the formal commencement of production on Aladdin just went on briefed that a few important roles in the animation have not had cast for the live-action performance, one of these, the ruler of Agrabah and Jasmine’s father, now, it’s been divulged that a previous Homeland star has assumed that role

Disney has officially opened the total cast for Aladdin and by doing this, revealed that Navid Negahban will take the role of the Sultan. He is joining the earlier mentioned names and others in resurrecting the animated classic on the big screen in live-action. Negahban not only had a re-ocurring position on Homeland, but also past featured in American Sniper and had a recurring role on 24. Check out entire cast (along with details about their characters):
For “Aladdin,” the live-action film of the studio’s animated classic, is finished and production is now on the way at Longcross Studios in England.

The “Aladdin” cast are: Twice Oscar contender, Will Smith (“Ali,” “Men in Black”) acts the Genie who has the ability to allow 3 wishes to whosoever has his supernatural lamp; Mena Massoud (Amazon’s “Jack Ryan”) acts Aladdin, the unlucky but adorable street rat who is attracted to the Sultan’s daughter; Naomi Scott (“Power Rangers”) acts Princess Jasmine, the Sultan’s pretty daughter who wants to her opinion be recognized in how she lives her life; Marwan Kenzari (“Murder on the Orient Express”) acts Jafar, an evil sorcerer who designs a wicked plot to overthrow the Sultan to rule Agrabah; Navid Negahban (“Homeland”) acts the Sultan, the monarch of Agrabah who is anxious to look for a befitting husband for his daughter, Jasmine; Nasim Pedrad (“Saturday Night Live”) acts Dalia, Princess Jasmine’s best friend and companion; Billy Magnussen (“Into the Woods”) acts Prince Anders, a boyfriend from Skanland and prospective husband for Princess Jasmine; and Numan Acar (“Homeland”) acts Hakim, Jafar’s next in command and head of the palace secuirty.

 

This press release arrives at the right time and, obviously, has shown Aladdin‘s major cast in its totality. All of the cast illustration fall right according to how the character were represented in the initial animated movie, also gives more detail on some of the characters that are fresh to the live-action version. This affirms that Pedrad will take the role equivalent to Jasmine’s confidant, while Magnussen will be a fellow boyfriend contending for Jasmine’s hand in marriage.
